This project was with a home owner who had already gained planning permission to build an annexe within the grounds of her house. As the Architect I carried out the detailed design with the client to produce the Building Control Drawings and documents.
The annexe was designed to be a two-bed building with a bathroom and an ensuite. The main living and bedroom areas face out onto a decked veranda which has fantastic views over the Mendips. The whole building is low level to be modest and minimal within the landscape. The simple and minimal design is carried forward with the internal fittings.
